Sonne Hotel is located about 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Interlaken in the peaceful suburb of Matten, next to the main road leading up to Grindelwald.

* Guests can enjoy the various specials in Spezialitäten Restaurant with it's cosy athmosphere. It's located next to the lobby. It has a window the full length of the front of the building overlooking the street. The decor is simple and rustic with heavy wooden tables and chairs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is visting interlaken. Really magnificient rooms with good facilities. Excellent breakfast and easy access to the railway and bus stations
We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The hotel is about a mile away from town, removed from "hotel row" and that was really nice for us. The clientele was German, French and British when we were there and so we were the only Americans which was a treat...
Hotel is very nice . Location is good. Owner is very nice person and helpful. Compare to other hotels it is nice and cheap. finally i was very happy to stay there.
