Edda Akureyri hotel is in a modern building in the heart of Akureyri, a charming town on a fjord on the north coast of Iceland. The Hotel is a student residence for much of the year, but operates as a hotel between 14th June and 27th August. It offers comfortable, spacious, clean accommodation at reasonable rates within walking distance of the centre of town. The shore is also just a short distance from the hotel. Akureyri is a good base for touring the north of Iceland. The region around Akureyri offers lots to see, including historic places such as Grund, Möðruvellir and Laufás. |
